SeaCross Multicultural Marketing Solutions was founded in 2019 by Pacific Northwesterners who are passionate about cross-cultural communication and building relationships within diverse communities. 

Throughout numerous conversations with local business owners and marketers, a common struggle was consistently voiced in the question “How can we engage this rapidly growing and diverse international demographic?” Such a broad question renders itself extremely difficult to answer and those who are asking it often have a difficult time knowing where to begin. Developing a multicultural awareness takes a great deal of time, and accidentally mishandling this intimidating topic can lead to damaged relationships, lost business, and a sullied reputation. 

Surprisingly, there are very few tools available to help bridge this gap, leaving business owners unsure of whether they should turn to traditional marketing agencies (a bad idea) or Internet queries (a worse idea). Some even decide to roll up their sleeves and attempt to wing it (an outright dangerous idea). 

Where then should they turn? With backgrounds in both intercultural studies and marketing, we were often asked for advice and guidance. We discovered a void when we found no place to which we could refer our friends and contacts. 

“Well, why don’t we open a firm where we can help businesses navigate the realm of cross-cultural marketing?” was the question we (jokingly) asked. What a novel idea! Or was it? The idea arose time and again, and after a few long conversations and nights out, a concept began to formulate. After nearly a year of work and preparation, that concept became SeaCross.
